Big Move

We have an official date to be out of this temporary apartment: Wednesday at 11am.  Movers come tomorrow.  We'll then take Tuesday and unpack as much as possible with the kids hanging around, then I'll go back to the apartment with them.  We'll take the rest of everything else and do a quick clean on Wednesday morning.

It's been a hectic week.  I cannot believe it's been almost 6 months since we got here.  But the new rebuilt house is beautiful.  Everything is customized and we got to pick all the colors, which was really nice.  The ceilings, once really low, are now all 12 foot plus.  There is a new huge kitchen with tapered level cabinets, granite countertops and a built in computer station.

I'm shocked at the low price we'll be paying: $600 a month.  I'm kind of freaking out a little bit at the timeline of it all.  We have found such great deals on second hand items - beds, tables, linens, cheap frames, etc.  It's amazing.  Mr. Valentine made sketches for our bedroom.  He painted fun stuff on the kids walls.  So this will really be a special move for us.

Now, I just need to NOT be worried about fires and break ins and all the bad things and just try to enjoy it all.

Daily Gratitudes:

1. I am doing well in my anger management so far.  Trying to take deep breaths and just relax when I feel anxious.

2. Twitter was fun today.

3. We are all fairly healthy.

4. Lots of people have offered to help us move/unpack.  Though we're not sure if they'd just be in the way with the kids running around too.  But it's still really nice.

5. During this move, I can hide this video of Thomas the Train with Alec Baldwin.  Yes, THE Alec Baldwin.  Mister "Tell Child Off Via Mobile".  And he's not even the reason I'm hiding it.  It's just...on auto loop ALL THE LIVE LONG DAY.

Congrats on the new house! Hopefully you'll get to stay there long enough to unpack all your boxes. It's been a couple states since I was able to do that.

Congratulations!! Your house sounds like it will be amazing and I just know that you will be happier with your little bunch when you get to live somewhere where you aren't crawling all over one another! Take those people up on their offers to help...and ask one of them to watch the children so that they won't be in the way at all! So excited for you!

Your new old house sounds fabulous!

Let me know if I can do anything to help from afar. I am sure once you are all moved in you can relax and enjoy yourself.

Love the picture!
